Construction

Construction

Our CHICKEN-TRAILER consists of a massive, galvanised tubular steel construction. A hydraulic chassis with two individually controlled dual tyres for soil protection and the closed floor with waterproof glued plywood plates enable easy and quick relocating.

Our coop’s floor is equipped with walkable wire grates. With this floor system the poultry red mite has no possibility to hide which differentiates our Chicken-Trailer from other grate systems. In the upper stable area a hygiene lock is situated. Behind it there are the feed chain, tilting floor nests, a trough and perches. Our cold scratching area with a closed floor plate is located in the lower stable area.

Relocation

Relocation

Thanks to the hydraulic chassis the CHICKEN-TRAILER can be easily lifted via the on-board hydraulics of your tractor. The tractor lifts the trailer at the frontside with the help of a linkage drawbar. As soon as the trailer is lifted, it can be relocated. Due to the four-wheel-chassis the soil is protected even in wet conditions. Moreover, height differences of up to 40cm can be balanced thanks to the hydraulic chassis.

High-quality tilting floor nests are being installed in the CHICKEN-TRAILER. An egg conveyor belt then transports the eggs into the anteroom where they can be taken from and immediately be sorted into egg crates.

Manure removal

Manure removal

Ideally, the manure removal takes place on a weekly basis. By cranking, the manure belt transports the manure outside and a scraper slides it from the belt into a loading shovel or manure box. The manure belt is located underneath the coop floor. Especially for good air with little emission in the stable area it is indispensable to muck out regularly.

Feeding

Feeding

Inside the coop the hens are fed with the help of a feed chain. Via a tiltable fodder silo the feed is transported by chain feeding into the trough. Consequently, feed loss is very low.

The water tank that provides for the nipple and cup troughs is located inside – frost-proof and fillable from the outside.

Power supply

Power supply

Serially, our CHICKEN-TRAILER is supplied with a 230V power cable. Upon customer request a photovoltaic system with battery storage can be installed for self-sufficient energy supply. The batteries and other electrical plant parts are protectively installed in the anteroom.

Control

Control

The electronic control unit Siemens Ktp 700 saves you a great deal of work in everyday operations. The settings can be individually adjusted via touch monitor: Dusk to dawn times, outdoor access flaps, feeding times, feeding interval, nest expel system, airing time, silo rotation.

This way we ensure an optimal supply of the animals and best conditions for an excellent laying performance.
